8-10 June 2023, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand - The Extraordinary Governing Board Meeting of SEAMEO SEPS successfully convened on 8-10 June 2023 at Sampran, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The meeting, chaired by Dr Priyanut Dharmapiya, Governing Board Member from Thailand, was participated by the Governing Board Members and representatives from SEAMEO Member Countries and the Director of SEAMEO Secretariat.
The SEAMEO SEPS’ operation plan and regional initiatives to promote the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability to educators, teachers and students in the Southeast Asian region such as SEP4School, Training Seminars, Youth Camp, SEPS Research and Innovation Project, webinars and other regional programmes presented by Ms Duriya Amatavivat, Centre Director, were approved by the Governing Board Members and representatives.
As a part of the meeting, a sharing session from Moreloop Company Limited and field visits to Wat Koh Wang Sai School and Sampran Model were organised to enhance the understanding of participants on successful models and practices of SEP.
